Hi-Ya, I'm Dennis
I make games feel good.
Duck Side of the Moon is a whimsical adventure I worked on during my year-long internship at Starbrew Games. As part of the team, I contributed to core gameplay systems and interactive features in Unreal Engine, helping shape the game’s overall feel and functionality.
The game follows a stranded space traveller who crash-lands on a disco-filled planetoid inhabited by groove-obsessed geodes. With gadgets, creativity, and rhythm, players work to restore the party spirit that powers this bizarre world, and maybe even find a way back to the stars.
Working on this project helped me grow both technically and creatively, learning Unreal Engine, developing systems from scratch, and collaborating with a passionate team to bring a colourful, music-fuelled universe to life.

About Me
Look, that's me, on a rock in England.
As the title of the site says, my name is Dennis Paijmans. I'm 20 years old.
At the age of 5 I got my first console, which sparked my interest for video games. And combining that with a creative mind, got me up to the point where I wanted to make them myself.
My dream goal is to work with a group of fun people and make games that I truly like. While earning at least enough to get around.
In most projects I have worked on, I mainly focus on the feel of the game, trying to make the best possible experience for the player. I usually take leadership roles and keep things well-organised.
